What is a Vedic remedy?
The Sanskrit word upay literally means "the way" — a deliberate practice that aligns subtle forces in your favour.
In classical Vedic thought, every planet (graha) influences a specific aspect of human life — and when a planet is weak or afflicted in your kundali, the corresponding life-area encounters friction. Vedic remedies are calibrated practices that strengthen weak planets, pacify afflicted ones, and harmonise the overall planetary energy of your chart.
A remedy is not magic. It works through repetition, intention, and the subtle resonance of mantra-yantra-puja with the planet it addresses. Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra dedicates an entire section to graha shanti — the practices for each of the nine grahas. Phaladeepika, Saravali and other classics describe gemstones, mantras, charity items, and ritual forms in extraordinary detail. The tradition is rich, specific, and time-tested.
The problem is that the modern astrology industry has commercialised this tradition into products without diagnosis. Gemstones are sold by birth sign, yantras are mass-produced, and elaborate pujas are upsold without genuine reference to the individual chart. The result: clients spend significantly on remedies that don't address their actual planetary needs — sometimes amplifying the wrong energy.
Our approach inverts this. We diagnose first. We read your chart to identify which planets are genuinely weak or afflicted in your case. Active difficult dasha

Sade Sati or Saturn transit
During Sade Sati's 7.5 years, daily Saturn mantras, Saturday vrat and weekly daan often shift the experience from suffering to constructive growth.
Identified active dosha
When a dosha (Mangal, Kaal Sarp, Pitru) is genuinely active in your chart, classical-prescribed remedies have centuries of evidence for effectiveness.
Before major decisions
Strengthening the relevant karaka (Venus for marriage, Saturn for property, Mercury for business) ahead of major commitments improves outcomes.
Recurring health or family issues
When the 6th, 8th or 4th house has malefic influence and corresponding life-issues recur, planetary pacification can complement medical or family care.

About Vedic remedies
Only if your chart genuinely needs one. In our practice, perhaps four out of ten clients are advised a gemstone — and only after the lagna analysis confirms it. The remaining clients receive mantra, yantra, puja or lifestyle remedies which are equally effective for their situation. A wrong gemstone can amplify problems rather than solve them, so we are careful here.
From any trusted source you prefer. We do not sell gemstones, yantras or remedy products — we only diagnose and guide. We can point you to general selection principles (quality, weight, authenticity certificates) but the purchase decision is yours.
It varies. Mantra japa shows internal shifts within 40 to 90 days of consistent practice. Gemstones often have a subtle effect within the first lunar month and a noticeable one after three months. Puja-based remedies tied to specific transits or doshas may need a full cycle of the dosha's activation period. Our 90-day follow-up review checks progress and adjusts if needed.
No, and anyone who promises guaranteed results is being dishonest. Remedies work on the subtle level — they shift the energetic environment in your favour. Outcomes also depend on your actions, decisions, current life circumstances and the strength of your underlying chart.
